A faithful reproduction of the legendary Viking turn shoe, based on finds from the Haithabu (Hedeby) archaeological site — with similar examples discovered in Poland and Novgorod. This model represents the classic early medieval footwear worn across Northern and Eastern Europe.

Crafted from untreated cowhide, these shoes are ready to be conditioned depending on your intended use, environment, and climate. This model fits best on narrow to regular-width feet; if you prefer a looser fit or have wider feet, we recommend sizing up.
