Lamellar Armour — Visby D Plate Style (1 mm Steel, Upgradable to Stainless)

Lamellar armour is constructed from many small overlapping plates laced together for flexibility and impact resistance. Used across cultures — from Viking groups to Mongols, Samurai and Chinese dynasties — it remains one of the most iconic pre-plate armour styles.

This model is based on the Visby D plate style, widely recognised in the reenactment community.

• Material: 1 mm mild carbon steel (upgrade to 1 mm stainless available on request)

• Construction: Plates laced and edge-lined with veg-tan leather

• Advanced build: Includes full shoulder cops and leather-finished edges for a premium, historically authentic appearance

• Reinforcement: Veg-tan leather used for stitching and side support
